Dr. med. Ulrich Geitner

VITA

I went to school in my franconian homeland Nürnberg and studied medicine in Erlangen.
During a one-year stay at the University of Parma I gained valuable experience.
After completing my specialist training in orthopaedics and trauma surgery at the Großhadern University Clinic, I became a senior physician in sports orthopaedics in Berne, Switzerland, specialising in the treatment of sports injuries and provided comprehensive conservative and surgical care to numerous top athletes.
I started my practice in Munich in 2008.

Since I have been working in the practice for over 10 years now, I see my attitude confirmed that patient contact at eye level is fundamental for a successful therapy. Due to my own illness, I can fall back on my own experiences with disease processes.
With the entry of my colleague PD Dr. Andreas Ficklscherer into the orthopaedics practice at Viktualienmarkt, I am pleased to be able to offer you, together with our team, an even broader medical spectrum based on a human-oriented attitude.
