Specialist in trauma surgery

VITA

After studying human medicine, I moved to Munich in 2009. I completed my specialist training in trauma surgery at the Dr. Rinecker Surgical Clinic (now Artemed Klinikum München Süd). During this time, I also worked as an emergency doctor in Munich on many occasions.

When I moved to the Orthopaedic Clinic at the University of Regensburg, I specialized in the fields of conservative orthopaedics and endoprosthetics (artificial joint replacement).

After completing my specialist training (April 2016), I returned to Munich and performed numerous primary and revision operations on large joints (hip, knee and shoulder endoprosthetics) as a senior consultant at the Orthopaedic Clinic at the Munich Bogenhausen Clinic.

In order to be able to provide comprehensive and individual advice on hip, knee and shoulder problems, I have deliberately decided to specialize in conservative (non-surgical) orthopaedics and surgical endoprosthetics at the same time.

My work initially focuses on a conservative treatment approach that preserves the joint. However, should this no longer lead to sufficient patient satisfaction, my many years of experience as a certified main surgeon (EndoCert) in a large endoprosthetics center (EndoProthetikZentrum der Maximalversorgung (EPZmax)) means that I stand for quality in the field of implantation of artificial joint replacements.
